So as I begin my new blog, its hard really knowing where to start. Everyone that I speak to says “Just write!” I’m really not sure what direction I will be taking this whole “blogging” concept, but I hope that is showcases a bit more of who I am as a professional and as a Wedding Coordinator.
So…after much consideration as to what to FIRST write about, I thought I’d talk about the month of November.
For me, November is my favorite time of year…The leaves change, the colors of rich warm golds, ambers, reds, and (my favorite) chocolate brown come to mind! We get to display wreaths at our front doors and the smell of spice fills our homes. Being in San Diego, we are lucky that we have such mild weather- but for me I HOPE for the cooler days and nights. November is also my favorite because I was married on the 20th 4 years ago to a wonderful wonderful man! I am so blessed with such a wonderful family-Husband, 2 sons and 2 dogs!
This time last year I did a FABULOUS wedding up in Orange County. The wedding for Thi and Nhat took place the beautiful Rancho Las Lomas. If you haven’t been there or seen it, its a definate MUST! Its acutally a Zoological site with many exotic animals and birds. Pretty amazing. Thi and her sister were such a delight to work with. Karen Tran was the AMAZING florist and designer. As always, so full and lush with florals! The ceremony site was so exquisit, so rich with color and texture. Probably one of my most favorite ceremony setup’s yet. The Bride and Groom had a traditional Tea Ceremony in the morning with their families and close relatives. Later they were off to the RLL for the Ceremony and Reception. Barnet Photography, did an amazing job capturing the day and all the beautiful details. You can see the feature on Rancho Las Lomas’s website under “featured weddings- Thi and Nhat”.
I just love this time of year!
