Scripps Seaside Forum

A beautiful Day in La Jolla. A gorgeous NEW venue. And a very happy couple! Working at The Scripps Seaside Forum is always such a pleasure. The space is very neutral, so it allows the client to bring in any color combination, decor preference. There’s no funky carpet to mask over- just natural, clean lines. Love it! For Kaley and Josh’s Seaside wedding, the Mother of the Bride actually worked directly with me and my staff. Kaley lived out of town, and left the wedding planning to her mom! What a treat and pleasure it was to work with this family. They enlisted my services to handle all aspects of the event. We decided to do a little spin on a traditional sit-down dinner- and instead brought in all Lounge furniture and cocktail tables/belly bars. We had stations throughout the venue so it allowed the guests to enjoy the entire venue, mingle and watch the sun go down on the Pacific Ocean. Guests boogied the night away while rockn’ out to one of my favorite entertainment groups Wayne Foster Entertainment! And they rocked in Style!! One of my Favorite features for this wedding was the Colbalt BLUE Dancefloor with the Orchid provided by Platinum Pro! A perfect add to this WAY-COOl wedding! And of course, the AMAZING Barry Lane from Coast Catering blew everyone out to the water with his exquisite menu- TO DIE FOR!  I would say this is definately how you do “MODER-CHIC”, In style!!

Hotel Del Coronado~ Shades of purple!

This glamorous wedding is one jaw-dropper! The ranges of purples and grays really are striking! The Bride, Kymberly was such a sweet, sweet gal to work with! She didnt know exactly what she wanted when first meeting with me, all she said was it needs to be Fabulous! I knew we would be a great fit! The wedding took place on the Windsor Lawn at the Beautiful and historic Hotel Del Coronado where we created a beautiful structure consisting of rich  Lilac Shantung Silk fabric and full and beautiful flowers in all shades of purple (from Eggplant to Fusha). The lush florals paved accross the top of the massive structure, creating a beautiful place to be wed. Even a beautiful chandelier was hung from this amazing structure. To complete the look, the very talented Florist: Karen Tran used beautiful and vibrant Purple/fusha Orchids to create curtains down the aisle! It was fabulous! I think my favorite feature for the day was the Placecard table! I have included a seperate photo of this just so you can see how amazing it was! My talented vendor Wendy Ware hand calligraphed the eggplant “skin” placecards with Ivory ink. The contrast of the 2 colors really made a statement.  Inside the Ballroom, glowed Purple and Shimmer! Beautiful, Crystal centerpieces filled the room. Linens from Wildflower Linens were irridecent discs that picked up the LED Purple lighting. And one of my favorite reception additions was the Custom Dancefloor! We decided on an Oval White, High Gloss dancefloor with their personal Logo created by Platinum Pro. It completed the ultimate look!

This wedding was one I will always remember! Not only for its beauty, but also its culture! I learned so much about their Pachanga heritage. And respect and treausure them for allowing me to be apart of such a special and spiritual day!

Best wishes to this beautiful Couple; Andrew and Kymberly!
