Vibrant Beachside Wedding: Hotel Del Coronado {Kelsey + Jeff}

Part 1: The Getting Ready and Love at “First Glance”

On this special week of LOVE, what better way to celebrate and remember than to relive the moments of Kelsey and Jeff’s vibrant beashside wedding at the Hotel Del Coronado. If you scroll back a few posts, you may remember their adorable engagement session by the Youngrens at their collage campus where they fell in love…you cant miss it; she had adorable HOT pink Hunter Boots and the trees of Seattle were stunning! The wedding day did not fall short! It was absolutely breathe-taking. Lush, vibrant, color-striking and chic!! But most of all, you can see and feel the love that they had for each other and family and friends that surrounded them was what mattered most! The extraordinary Floral Designer; Karen Tran, truly exceeded ALL expectations and it showed through all the gorgeous and vibrant sea-side decor. We had orchids coming out our ears!! … of course a Karen Tran trade-mark! (stay tuned for more images at the Hotel Del Windsor Lawn ceremony and Glamourous Crown Ballroom reception!!)

The Getting Ready:  Kelsey and Jeff planned their Destination Wedding in hopes that everyone would see their  love for each other, family, and the beach! And what better place, than the Hotel Del Coronado! Its magnificent ocean views,  fabulous ballroom, and romantic history; it was the perfect setting for Kelsey and Jeff. As their family and friends all came to town to enjoy the weekends festivites; they started off with a fun adventure -aka: Rehearsal Dinner– to the San Diego Zoo! Dinner was held at the Tree Top and guest wined and dined after spending the afternoon around the Park! On the morning of the wedding; Kelsey was surrounded by her bridesmaids, mothers, and girlfriends as she prepared for the biggest day of her life!!

Wedding day Style:  Bride is wearing an 2011 Enzoani, chiffon dress, Sweetheart neckline  Bridesmaids are wearing a Chiffon Amsale knee-length dress in a dark Teal shade they purchased from the Winnie Couture site. Groom and Groomsmen wore custom Gray suits with vivid Teal Ties (gifts from the Groom) and the Groom in Orange! Stunning color combination! (and of course their totally awesome VANS shoes!!! and Killer matching watches!) This group of guys and gals were killing it with style!

Love at “First Glance”: Many brides question whether seeing each other prior to the ceremony is a great idea or not…you will see in the images below that even though our groom Jeff didn’t see his bride walking down the aisle for the first time with the dress from the melbourne wedding dress store, his reaction is still the same! CLASSIC! And genuine! (it gives me chills seeing the emotion expressed and captured by the incredibly talented  Erin and Jeff Youngren!) I love that they got to share in this moment together, and we get to experience it through these beautiful images!!

Until next time!

XoXo, Emily:)

I love that Kelsey wore this gorgeous family heirloom! Inside is engraved with past names, birth dates and wedding date! What a special way to incorporate her “something borrowed”!
